I wasn’t happy with my reflection in the mirror. Why? No muscle. "Daily push-ups might work." I decided to do one set of push-ups per day (to failure) for the remainder of the year. On day one I could barely do 20. By the end of the year I was knocking out 50. How did I get to 50? By “failing” every day. Progress is like that.
Think about your own life. Isn’t it true that every time you've persistently tried to get better at anything, you always have? Always. Maybe you didn’t reach your goal, but you got better. What’s that called? Progress.
Step one is beginning. Sometimes it's beginning again. Of course, things are more challenging when others are involved. "My" success requires help from others. Chances are yours does too. Step one remains the same.
